Which HVAC companies does AI recommend?

    October 2026

We asked ChatGPT and Perplexity five homeowner HVAC questions, twice each, in Brooklyn, Queens and Monmouth County, NJ. Asking the identical question again kept only 55% of the recommended companies, and the two assistants agreed on 23 of 96. Half of the established local firms we checked were never recommended in their market.

Who AI recommends for ranch and game fencing in Texas

    October 2026

We asked ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Claude 10 questions a landowner asks before hiring a fence contractor, and recorded every company named. One contractor appeared in 34 of 40 answers. Below it, the engines rarely agreed: 71 companies were named, and on local and specialty searches each engine built its own shortlist.
